Zhihu

Zhihu is a social app similar to Quora or, to a lesser extent, Reddit, in which any user can ask a question and get answers from other users. Thanks to the way this app works, it's the users who decide which answers are the most useful and which are the least useful.

Create your account using WeChat

Although you can use Zhihu without a user account, if you want to ask your own question or answer other users' questions, you have to sign up. In order to log into the app, you will need to have a WeChat account. In addition, once you've logged in using WeChat, you will also have to enter your phone number. This is the only way to unlock all the app's features.

Different questions for each category

All the questions on Zhihu are neatly sorted into different categories, which you can browse through from the top of the interface. Here, you can find the latest questions that have been asked, the most popular questions, or simply sort the questions by topic. For each question, you can also sort the answers, which by default appear in order from the answers with the most votes to the least.
